The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is a regulation, passed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as part of the 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments, that requires all community water systems to provide their customers with an annual water quality report. This is the annual Drinking Water Quality Report for the period of January 1 to December 31, 2022.
The City of Azle will hold a public hearing at the June 20, 2023 Azle City Council meeting to allow questions and comments regarding the City of Azle’s 2022 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report (CCR).
With the CCR, communities benefit by gaining a better understanding of their water suppliers and the processes involved, which allows them an opportunity to make an informed decision regarding their use of drinking water. This report is a summary of the quality of the water Azle provides its customers. The CCR also provides the City of Azle with an opportunity to explain how the community’s drinking water supplies are protected.
