City Council to hold special budget meetings in August

As part of the budget process, the Azle City Council will hold several special meetings in August in addition to their regular meetings.  All meetings are held at Azle City Hall, 505 W. Main St, in the Council Chambers beginning at 6 pm.

City Council meetings in August:
August 3 - special meeting to designate a proposed tax rate.
August 4 - regular council meeting
August 11 - special meeting - budget workshop
August 18 - regular meeting - public hearing on the proposed budget, tax rate, water/sewer rates.
August 24 - special meeting to approve the proposed budget, tax rate, water/sewer rates

All agendas are posted to the website and outside bulletin board at City Hall by 5 pm on the Friday before the meeting date.  If you would like to receive notification when a new agenda is posted, sign up for Notify Me through this website.

During this time of COVID, masks are required at City Hall and social distancing is maintained in the Council Chambers.  In order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (“social distancing”), and to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the public will be permitted to offer public comments by telephone as provided by the agenda and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting.
