Water Quality Report

The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is a regulation, passed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as part of the 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments, that requires all community water systems to provide their customers with an annual water quality report. The City must also hold a public hearing at a City Council meeting prior to July 1 each year to allow for questions/comments regarding the annual report.

With the CCR, communities benefit by gaining a better understanding of their water suppliers and the processes involved, which allows them an opportunity to make an informed decision regarding their use of drinking water. This report is a summary of the quality of the water Azle provides its customers. The CCR also provides the City of Azle with an opportunity to explain how the community’s drinking water supplies are protected.
