The City of Azle and Community Waste Disposal have worked together to create a recycled paint program to provide free, recycled paint to Azle residents for use in beautifying Azle's neighborhoods. Need to spruce up your home? Come by City Hall and grab a gallon.
This environmentally friendly way to reuse old paint is produced by blending usable paint collected at Azle’s X-Treme Green Events (household hazardous waste program). The recycled paint (latex & oil-based) is available in 1-gallon containers and comes in various shades of beige (Limit 2 gallons per household. Five gallon containers available upon request). Paint is available at Azle City Hall, 505 W. Main, from 8 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday.
The City of Azle does not guarantee the purity, quality, consistency, etc. of the paint distributed.
You Can't Just Throw It Away!
Many types of paint contain chemicals that are harmful to our environment and can’t be disposed of in regular landfills. PLEASE, recycle your old paint by bringing your unused paint to Azle’s X-Treme Green Events - held twice a year, spring & fall. Or, take it to the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Agency located at 6400 Bridge Street.
