Municipal Development Board
Overview
The Azle Municipal Development District (the “District”) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas and the City of Azle, created in accordance with Chapter 377 (PDF) of the Texas Local Government Code. The District was created for the purpose of generating economic development and growth opportunities within the Tarrant County boundaries of the district. Each of the Directors must reside within the city limits of Azle or its extra territorial jurisdiction and are appointed by the City Council to serve a two-year term.
Meetings
The Municipal Development District meets as needed the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm at Azle City Hall, 505 W. Main Street. Agendas are posted the Friday prior to the meeting on the outside bulletin board at City Hall, 505 W. Main, and this website.
