Toddler Tales Storytime

(temporarily canceled) Every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 am
Toddler Tales (PDF) is a participatory program for parents/caregivers and children ages 18-36 months. We will engage with books, play with fun activities, and make a craft that reflects a weekly theme.

Preschool Storytime

(temporarily canceled) Every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:45 am
Preschool Storytime (PDF) is a participatory program for both parent/caregiver and child, with the 3-6 year old child in mind. We will engage with books, play with fun activities, and make a craft that reflects a weekly theme. 

Non-Fiction Addiction Book Club

First Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM
Adults of all ages are welcome to attend and discuss the non-fiction book selection for the month. Takes place in the Library Community Room.

Family Film Friday

(temporarily canceled) First Friday of each month at 4:00 PM 
Join us each month for a family-friendly movie in the Library Community Room. Fresh popcorn provided free of charge. All ages welcome, but children under 8 and under must have a parent or adult guardian with them at all times. Sponsored by the Azle Library Trust.

(virtual) Second Tuesday of every month at 4:30 pm
Discover your inner artist! We will explore all types of art and you can take your creations home!  Perfect for Ages 5 and up. All materials will be supplied. For more information, see our Flyer or call the Library. 

READ to a Dog

NOTE: READ to a dog is on hiatus until further notice. Please check this website and the Azle Library’s Facebook page for updates as to when the program will resume. 
Second Saturday of every month from 2-3:30 pm
Children of all ages will be able to read to a certified therapy dog in order to improve their reading skills. Takes place in the Library Community Room. Come-and-go.

Main Street Book Club

Third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm
Adults of all ages are welcome to attend and discuss the book selection for the month. Takes place in the Library Community Room.

For all ages! LEGOs are provided by the library - you supply the creativity! Takes place in the Library Community Room.

Learn cooking techniques, discover new recipes, and sample tasty foods at this monthly program held in the Community Room. This program is aimed towards adults, but teenage cooks are also welcome!

THHSC Program Sign-Up Assistance

(temporarily canceled) Second Tuesday of every month from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Library foyer
A Benefit consultant will be available to help families sign up for SNAP/Food Stamps, CHIP, Children’s Medicaid, TANF, and any other Texas Health and Human Services Commission program. Questions? Contact the Library at 817-752-2682 and ask to speak to the Adult Services Librarian.
