City Recycling
CWD provides recycling service to the City of Azle on your first pickup day of every week.
For residents moving into newly constructed homes or into previously occupied homes, contact the city at 817-444-2541 for bin delivery. By 7 a.m. on your pickup day, place all approved containers in your green recycle bin and all approved paper items in a brown paper sack and put on your curb or in your alley for pickup. Do not recycle common household hazardous waste (HHW) in the curbside recycling cart. These items may be taken to the
Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center located at 6400 Bridge Street. It's open to residents of Fort Worth and participating cities (Azle included) on Thursdays and Fridays from 11 am until 7 pm and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (and it's free!). The center is closed on city holidays. For more information, call the ECC Information Line at 817-871-5257.
You may also dispose of your HHW at Community Waste Disposal's X-Treme Green Event. These events will be held as part of the city-wide clean ups in the spring and fall each year.
Household hazardous waste includes:
- Paints, solvents and thinners
- Pool chemicals
- Garden fertilizers and pesticides
- Propane/helium tanks
- Automobile products and parts
Note: Missed trash / recycling and bulk item collection should be reported to Community Waste Disposal. To speak to a customer service representative, please call 817-795-9300, option 2.
