City-Wide Clean-Up Saturday, May 10
The City of Azle will be conducting a free city-wide clean-up on Saturday, May 10, from 7 am - 12 noon. Residents can drop off unwanted bulky items and brush at 804 Park Street. Proof of Azle residency will be required by presenting your water bill and drivers license.

The following items will be accepted: brush, furniture, bulky items, appliances, small amounts of construction materials from do-it-yourself projects, household hazardous waste, paint, thinners, acids, solvents, anti-freeze, pesticides, computers and office equipment. (We cannot accept trailers filled with loose bricks, rocks and concrete.) PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with Federal laws, items containing Freon, such as freezers, refrigerators, and air conditioners, must be properly discharged and tagged before dropping them off at the collection site. Contact a State licensed technician. Look under “Air Conditioning” in the yellow pages.

Tires will not be accepted. For information on where to dispose of these items, please contact the Environmental Collection Center located at 6400 Bridge Street in Ft Worth, (817) 871-5257. The city has an oil recycle center located at the City Garage where Azle residents can dispose of their used oil and filters.

Puppet Shows at the Azle Public Library
The Azle High School National Honor Society students will present puppet shows at 1 pm in the Children's Area of the Azle Public Library (609 SE Parkway) on Saturday, May 3,10 & 17. For more information call 817-444-7114.
